The drawing “Voyage into the Unknown” is part of a series titled “Art about Art,” through which I explore various facets of my artistic practice.

For me, art is a captivating journey into the unknown. The creation of each piece surprises me with its unexpected turns, discoveries, and the final result it yields. The unpredictable process demands constant adjustments and a willingness to embrace uncertainty. This journey of creation mirrors my broader artistic path, filled with both challenges and potential. While the unknown can be intimidating, it is also thrilling. It invites us to imagine not just the worst possible outcomes but also the best possibilities.

The drawing, with its series of multiple entries, represents this journey.  The brightness in this piece symbolizes the optimism and hope I find in navigating this path. It serves as a reminder that even amidst uncertainty, there is potential for something beautiful and promising.
