PORTRAIT OF THREE GIRLS

Colored pencil on paper

34 x 30 cm

This piece reflects the quiet strength of friendship. The three women, lying together in peaceful stillness, embody the idea that true friendship doesn’t always need words. Their closeness suggests a deep, unspoken connection – a bond that transcends conversation and thrives in moments of shared silence.

For me, this scene represents the beauty of having friends who are simply there – offering support and comfort through their presence alone. The way they rest side by side symbolizes trust and mutual understanding, as if they’re recharging in each other's company.

With this drawing I wanted to express how friendships provide a sense of belonging and calm, reminding us that we are never truly alone when we have those who understand us deeply.
